Creature Conservancy - Reindeers

I just learned that Ann Arbor has a zoo, so lets go check it out. To get in the holiday spirit the featured animal is a reindeer.  Diane Gledhill is the host for this event 734-368-5237 or diane82103@yahoo.com.

The animals on display may include the eagle owls, great horned owl, emus, black swans, Arctic foxes, turkey vultures, black vultures, cravens, muntjac, chickens, macaws, giant tortoises, spurred tortoise, rabbits, wild turkey, goats, horses, and pony. The peafowl are free-range - you may see them just about anywhere!

Admission is $8/person payable at our gift shop opposite the barking deer enclosure. If the shop is unattended, please use the self-pay envelopes at the green gate. Keep your colored ticket with you as you visit, and turn it in to a staff member for a hand stamp during your visit.

Sven the reindeer is our featured animal this month!  He will be presented on the Stone Stage twice during the afternoon at 2:00 and 4:00.
