Sign-ups are moving to May, as this will allow us to be more flexible in booking lodging and to align more closely with other ski clubs, who have moved their
sign-ups to Spring.

Our race team skied at Boyne Mt. this past weekend. Saturday’s race was challenging due to several inches of soft snow. We had two out of three racers place in their class, with Todd Newman, our own VP, taking a 3rd place. On Sunday we had great conditions and did well with a 1st and 2nd.
The last race weekend is March 10 - 12. You can race as a guest for $10 per race. We plan to rent a cottage near Boyne. If you are interested on joining us for the weekend, contact Alan Osterdale at ostind@juno.com before Thursday March 2. (You do not have to race). |

A great time was had by more than 50 ski club members who attended the Terrace Inn trip on February 24-26. |

The Ann Arbor Ski Club texting service for members is now operational and available for sign-up. To use this optional service you must opt in by updating your A2SC membership profile.
Here’s How:
Log in to the A2SC website. (Hint - Use the email address where you received this eBlast)
Once logged in follow these steps:
- Click the large red “Edit Profile” box.
- Head down to “We would like to send you relevant text messages”.
- To read the consent agreement click the link that says “I consent to receive text messages. From….” . Note that it will open in a separate window.
- Return to the original window to consent to the agreement by checking the box next to the link. Leave blank if you do not agree or do not want to receive text messages.
- Return to the top of the page and click the large red “Save” box.
- To log out click the person icon in the upper right corner and select “Log Out”.
After that look forward to receiving your first text alert in the next few days. |

The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app. It runs on IOS and Android. Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app. Members have reported problems with the app. An upgrade will correct the issue. You have to delete it from your phone, then reload. |
