"I hope everyone had fun at the Gala last night. I had several people come up to me at the end of the night and thank me for all the "work" I did on it. As I mentioned to them, the truth of the matter is that 99% of the work was done by this group of lovely ladies and they deserve all the credit. So, if you are at a happy hour or Zal Gaz, be sure to buy Cheryl Anderson, Susan Brown, Betty Cornell, Pat Marten, Vicki Watson, Darlene Morin and Lisa Salisbury a drink. We celebrated 70 years of fun times and great friendships last night. One of the most repeated phrases I heard last night was “oh my gosh it is …..”. There were a lot of people there who had not seen each other in a long time. The night was filled with warm smiles, great food, and good music. Thank you to all our volunteers and a special thank you to the Gala Committee for putting this special event together. Ladies you did an amazing job!
