Pricing:

   Outdoor Shelter: $200

   Indoor Building: $300 - We can move inside and pay additional $100 if it rains

   Bar: $50 - (Bartender fee) - Liquor License only permits them to sell beer and wine outside.

- Beer is $3.25 - $4 per can

- Wine is $3.50 - $4 a glass

- Well liquor is $3.25

Hello

My name is Jeff Crawford and I left a message several weeks ago and then briefly spoke to someone on the phone Wednesday evening November 6th.

I am with the Ann Arbor Ski Club and we have a yearly membership drive event called the Corn Roast. This event usually takes place on the last Sunday of August annually. Non-members are encouraged to attend.

I am doing some initial leg work to scout our locations.

Most recently it was at the Ypsi Freighthouse and before that at Hudson Mills Grove Picnic shelter for many years.

We are looking for a location to host this event for 2025. We typically have about 100 - 125 people attend.

     - The event usually last about 4 hours.

     - Before the event we clean and roast corn on a BBQ up to 3 - 4 hours before the event and then grill hot dogs during the event. We have our own large grills for this.

     - Our guests are encouraged to bring a dish to pass.

     - We bring in a bartender and provide our own beer and wine.

     - We have a live band that plays during the event.

     - Our volunteers usually set up and do clean up at the location.

What we are looking for:

     - A facility indoor or outdoor to host the event at

     - An area where we can set up our grills and prepare the corn

     - Tables and chairs provided by the location

     - A place for the band to set up indoors or outdoors, a small dance area.

     - An area for our bartender to setup

     - Tables for food, Usually 4 - 5 8ft tables

     - A small area for outdoor games

     - The ability to move indoors if needed due to weather.

I have seen several bands here, both inside and outside under your shelter. And thought this would be the perfect location for our corn roast in 2025.

Hello Jeff

This sounds like a good fit. We have quite a few open dates for next year. We do not currently have that date booked. The cost for the pavilion is $200 and the inside hall is $300. We are usually closed on Sundays, but can open the bar for special events for an additional $50. Please shoot me a call at 7346468808 and we can get this scheduled for you.
